These terms apply to any lesson, course or corporate tuition booked with Casa Parola. Booking a session, whether by form, phone or email, means these terms have been accepted.
These terms govern the provision of Italian language tuition by Casa Parola to the individual or organisation booking the lesson, referred to here as the client. They apply to private, group, corporate and exam-preparation tuition delivered in person or online, and to no other service.
A booking is confirmed once the client has agreed a proposed format and price, whether communicated verbally, by email or through the website request form. Quotes for private and business tuition are based on the information given at the assessment or needs review stage, and may be revised if that information changes materially before the first session.
Lessons are delivered at the time and place agreed, whether at the client's home, an office, our own premises or online. Where a lesson is held on the client's premises, the client is responsible for providing a reasonably quiet space and, for corporate sessions, any equipment needed for the group.
Fees are due on completion of the agreed block of lessons or, for term-based group courses, in advance of the term starting. Payment is accepted by cash on completion or by bank transfer against an invoice; no other payment method is offered. Invoices are issued promptly and state the sessions or period covered.
Individual lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice are rescheduled or refunded; shorter notice is treated as a completed session. Course and term bookings follow the specific cancellation terms set out at enrolment, which are provided in writing before payment is taken.
Casa Parola takes reasonable care in planning and delivering tuition but does not guarantee any particular exam result, fluency level or outcome, since these depend on factors beyond the lessons themselves. Complaints about the conduct or content of a session should be raised as soon as possible so they can be addressed directly, and any liability is limited to the fees paid for the sessions concerned.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
